    This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, including regulation, legislation and the Code of Ethics.

  • R02 (Investment Principles)

    This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of investment products and the application of the investment advice process.

When Joely’s at work

Joely joined PIA in October 2025 after graduating from the University of Lincoln with a First-Class Honours degree in Business and Finance. She is currently working towards her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, having already completed two of the six required exams.

In her role, Joely supports the advisory team by shadowing experienced advisers to develop a deeper understanding of the financial planning process and client relationships. She also assists with report writing alongside the paraplanning team, helping to ensure clients receive clear and well-structured advice.

Joely enjoys interacting with both colleagues and clients, gaining valuable experience as she builds her career in financial planning.

When Joely’s at home

Away from the office, Joely enjoys staying active and making the most of her free time. She has a passion for tap dancing and loves spending time outdoors, whether that’s walking her dogs or travelling whenever she gets the opportunity.
