When Gemma’s at work

Gemma has worked in the profession for 12 years. She joined PIA in June 2023. Before this, she worked for Ascot Lloyd and a smaller IFA practice.

Gemma enjoys finding solutions for individuals through holistic financial planning, where she specialises in protection, investments, pensions and Inheritance Tax advice. Gemma believes the key to success within her role is to listen and consider her client’s needs and objectives throughout the planning process.

When Gemma’s at home

Gemma balances time between her two daughters and two older stepchildren with after-school activities and family days out.

A sociable person, Gemma loves spending time with friends, whether on girly weekends, trips to the theatre, or catching up. When she gets time for herself, Gemma enjoys keeping fit, regularly attending gym classes and weight training. She also likes road running (as long as it’s not raining).

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Not to take life too seriously.

What three things do you love most about your job?

Building relationships with people, helping individuals achieve their financial goals and working within a professional service.

Where is your favourite location in the world?

Rome.

What’s your proudest moment as a financial planner?

Achieving Chartered status.
